About the weekend

Anger is most often a boundary that was crossed a long time ago. Men lose it in two ways — it explodes, or it turns inward. By the fire on Friday we tell of our own times: the ones where it came out wrong, and the ones where it stayed in.

On Saturday you find the anger you are carrying right now and write down which boundary it is guarding. You learn the difference between anger and contempt — a relationship can live with the first. Sunday is about Monday: say it while it is small, and use the body before the words.

The hands

Splitting firewood for the winter, and tearing down what has to come down. One man teaches the others the axe.

Saturday evening

On the floor on Saturday evening we practise the no: first with the voice, then with the body. Two men at a time, a stop word everyone knows, and only what both have said yes to.

The question to take home

What is my anger guarding?

Before you come

Who gets your anger — and who should have had it?

How the weekend lies

Friday

You arrive between 2 and 4 pm and get a room. At 5 we sit in a circle, and at 9 we open the theme by the fire. Sauna for those who want it.

Saturday

Up at 7. A talk, then work until 2 pm. Two hours where you write, in silence. A walk to the sea, two by two. Dinner, and at 8 the evening's room.

Sunday

A silent walk, a short circle, and then we read out what you wrote on Saturday — anonymously, if you wish. A last talk, and at 4 the ferry leaves.
