Privacy policy

What we do with what you write.

Last updated 28 September 2026

We only process what you send us yourself. We collect nothing in secret, do no profiling and sell nothing on. This English text is a translation; the Danish version is the legally binding one.

Data controller

Vend Hjem is run by Lai Yde, Egholmvej 23, Agersø, together with Steven Wensley. Questions about how your details are processed: laiydeh@gmail.com.

What we receive

The letter form on Join us asks for your name, email address and your text. When you press send, these three things are stored in our own system, the letter is emailed to the person who answers, and you get a receipt at the email address you gave. Enquiries on Paths are stored the same way: name, email and what you write to us.

Why

To be able to answer you and to prepare or enter into an agreement about a stay, membership or rental. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, and Article 6(1)(a) where you have given consent.

How long

Enquiries that lead nowhere are deleted after two years at the latest. If they lead to an agreement, we keep what the agreement requires for as long as it runs, and after that for as long as bookkeeping and limitation rules require.

Who sees it

Only the people at Vend Hjem who need to answer you: Lai Yde for letters and stays, Steven Wensley for the men’s weekends. Enquiries about the men’s weekends go to kontakt@vendhjem.dk. The letter is stored in our system at Cloudflare and with our email provider. We do not transfer information to third countries on our own initiative.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction or deletion, or for restriction, and you can object. Write to laiydeh@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, datatilsynet.dk.
