Men's weekend
Desire
Wanting something, and standing by it.
About the weekend
Desire as life force, before it becomes a problem. By the fire on Friday we talk about desire in a masculine body — the longing, the shame, and the two shadows: the one that lacks boundaries, and the one where everything has gone flat. We go first with our own mistakes.
Saturday is about desire and boundaries: wanting, and asking what she wants. Desire in a long relationship; the man who stopped wanting; the man who wants too much. On Sunday you take the conversation home.
Saturday's meal from scratch for all fifteen: the oven lit in the morning, bread, meat over fire, vegetables from the place.
On Saturday evening we play it through on the floor — what you find hard to say, what you want and hesitate over — together with an actor Lai has worked with for many years. Everyone keeps their hands to themselves. You choose whether you stand on the floor or watch. The sauna afterwards is in silence.
What do I want — rather than what I ought to want?
What do you want that you keep to yourself?
How the weekend lies
Friday
You arrive between 2 and 4 pm and get a room. At 5 we sit in a circle, and at 9 we open the theme by the fire. Sauna for those who want it.
Saturday
Up at 7. A talk, then work until 2 pm. Two hours where you write, in silence. A walk to the sea, two by two. Dinner, and at 8 the evening's room.
Sunday
A silent walk, a short circle, and then we read out what you wrote on Saturday — anonymously, if you wish. A last talk, and at 4 the ferry leaves.

This weekend is best once you have been here before — start with The good argument, for instance.
