Men's weekend
The good argument
About staying in an argument and still being yourself — and about asking for time when your head is full.
About the weekend
Most of us know it: in the middle of the argument your head is full, she still has room, and we disappear — into attack, into flight or into surrender. The weekend is about being able to stay standing. We begin by the fire on Friday with our own arguments, the ones we lost, and the ones we lost ourselves in.
On Saturday you get a model you can lay your last big argument into: which role did you enter by, which did you leave by, and when did it shift. On Sunday you take the tools home — a pause agreement that holds, and the words to say what you actually mean.
Fence and posts — work that needs two men lifting at the same time.
On Saturday evening we play the hard argument through on the floor. Lai holds the frame together with an actor he has worked with for many years. You choose whether you stand on the floor or watch.
When in the argument do I leave myself?
Think of the argument the two of you keep having.
How the weekend lies

You arrive between 2 and 4 pm and get a room. At 5 we sit in a circle, and at 9 we open the theme by the fire. Sauna for those who want it.
Saturday
Up at 7. A talk, then work until 2 pm. Two hours where you write, in silence. A walk to the sea, two by two. Dinner, and at 8 the evening's room.
Sunday
A silent walk, a short circle, and then we read out what you wrote on Saturday — anonymously, if you wish. A last talk, and at 4 the ferry leaves.
